Fort Pro Quip Ltd was contacted by a premium cider company that required high specification fermentation vessels for use in their production process. We provided vessels that met their requirements. In addition, our engineers designed leg structures for the vessels and commissioned their fabrication.
To meet the needs of our customers, the logistics of the operation were paramount. Whilst our engineers erected the leg structures on site, the loading and transport of the vessels (abnormal loads) took place to coincide with the completion of the onsite work. This allowed for no downtime between the erection of the leg structures and the installations of the tanks. The project strategy meant there was minimal disruption to every day production.
